SBIR/STTR grants, also known as America’s Seed Fund, give small businesses debt- and equity-free capital for R&D. America’s Seed Fund Expo competition connects companies to additional resources. Seven of the 12 winners of the Expo competition had women as prime movers on their leadership teams.
