Real Women Do Social Media -- Syllabus
WEEK 1:
Focus: Class Overview, Meet & Greet and Intros
It's important that we get to know one another; not just for referrals, but you'll be learning from each other as you go along. Knowing each other's business will make it easier to learn and help. (This is also the class where I reveal the bonus that you get for signing up for the Real Women Do Social Media Program!)
WEEK 2:
Focus: Brand Distillation & Developing Your Cornerstone Theme
This is the piece that many people overlook. If you sound the same and look the same as everyone else, you'll never stand out online. This class will make sure you select the right "thing" to focus on about your business. That focus will make the Real Women Social Media System even easier to implement.
WEEK 3:
Focus: Social Media Tool Selection
Should you have a blog or use Facebook? No, Twitter, right? Naturally, this varies based on what you're objectives are. We'll get to the bottom of what YOU should be doing to create your "social media trifecta."
WEEK 4:
Focus: Content Strategy
Believe it or not, content is still queen. This class will answer the questions, "What do I write about? What do I tweet?" If you think you don't have anything to write about, I'll show you how to come up with 100+ items in less than 15 minutes. (Yes, at least 100.)
WEEK 5:
Focus: Time & Resource Management
Ahh, there's the rub! Who has time for all of this social media stuff? I'll show you how to avoid Social Media Haystacking and create a time management strategy that leaves you sane and unruffled - and with all your social media tasks done to boot!
WEEK 6:
Focus: Influencer Identification & Engagement
Another critical piece that most people miss. We'll delve deeply into how to make the most of The Reciprocity Rule, and I'll show you how to GENUINELY connect with the right people, the ones you need to know. You'll learn how to spot an influencer and how to use technology so connecting and staying connected is easy and natural. (This is how you get business!)
WEEK 7:
Focus: Metrics & Reputation Management
No conversation about social media is complete without discussing ROI (Return on Investment). You'll get an in-depth look at how to measure success and I'll introduce you to some low-cost tools that will help you to see, at a glance, what people are saying about you and how you're benefiting from your social media marketing. We'll also be talking about "alternate currencies" (and I don't mean money)!
WEEK 8:
Focus: Wrap-up & Next Level
Where do you go from here? We'll talk about exactly what your next steps will be and how you can take what you've learned and put it in motion and then ramp it up to the next level -- with each other!
Remember, if you can't make a class, that's OK, all the classes will be recorded and you'll be able to catchup quickly.
Each class will have plenty of time for Q&A as well. So you'll be able to ask as many specific questions as you like.
